quiet and change......

I have been a little quiet lately as we have been so busy organising and preparing for my first born to leave for Vancouver, Canada. Ben has flown our nest after 23 years and I am the proudest mum in the world right now but......shhhh, bit of a secret I am also just that tiny bit heartbroken. I hope he has a wonderful time out there but erm...think he might have a shock when he runs out of clean clothes and towels!!!!! Bon Voyage Ben :)

After a fun but very cold play in the park we enjoyed a much needed warm drink in the cafe set in the grounds of the castle but Charlie's favourite bit was the scrumptious carrot cake, that boy really does LOVE his 'bestest cake' .

Christmas at our house was wonderful and we celebrated with a traditional meal with our family and then on boxing day we did something a little different for us, we packed our bags and went of on an adventure.
