I have been a little quiet lately as we have been so busy organising and preparing for my first born to leave for Vancouver, Canada. Ben has flown our nest after 23 years and I am the proudest mum in the world right now but......shhhh, bit of a secret I am also just that tiny bit heartbroken. I hope he has a wonderful time out there but erm...think he might have a shock when he runs out of clean clothes and towels!!!!! Bon Voyage Ben :)Friday 28 January 2011

Watching your child go out to their won lives, happy, content and with the world at their feet would have to leave you proud and sad at the same time.Safe journey for you big boy, and hugs for you.
It's something we all go through; probably more difficult for mothers than fathers. My three children all live far away; London, Australia, and Thailand. Thank goodness for Skype!
