My Little Treat.

I'm sure it makes my 'puka' love tea taste even nicer!
I spotted this cute little teapot and cup in a shop yesterday and just couldnt resist it.

wonderful surprises :)

The postman brought Charlie a most wonderful surprise this morning, a lovely parcel addressed to 'charlie'. Inside were 4 gorgeous books so kindly chosen and a beautiful hand made card, all from 3 wonderful children, Mia, Tarka and Willow (their lovely mama is Gina, our unschooled family). A very happy boy sat and read each book with a big smile on his face and we have put the beautiful card up on our wall, Thank you so very much :) xxx
Enjoying 'Percy The Park Keeper.....the secret path :)

inspiration from lovely blogs.....

charlie insists that he does everything ''all by myself''
Perhaps charlie is taking meditating whilst baking just a little to far lol!

The finished product....delicious spelt bread :)

Book Share Monday.

This week Charlie and I have chosen a brilliant book about diggers. ''Dougal the Digger'' by Benedict Blathwayt who also writes the wondeful little red train series. As you have probably noticed there are a few digger books in the photo and that is because charlie insisted we couldnt leave the other very much loved digger books out! Charlie is a big digger fan as you can tell.

Dougal the digger is having a very busy day. There are buildings to be knocked down, piles of rubble to shift and then....disaster
The foremans dog, Patch, goes missing. Where is he hiding?

A fab book for all lovers of diggers everywhere!

The king.

A wonderful order arrived from Myriad the other day and this is what happened to our little boy.....he became a king :)

Book Share Monday.

This week we have chosen 'Emily And Daisy' By Elsa Beskow.
The elf children stared at Emily's sandcastles and laughed as they climbed on the heaps of sand. Emily laughed too and made more sandcastles around them.

Daisy wandered up, sniffed at a sandcastle and knocked it over.

''pancakes, come and eat pancakes!'' cried the elf children.

We love Elsa Beskow stories and this is another beautifully illustrated, lovely book.
